Driving from Endurance to the heat shield

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 325 (December 22, 2004). This drive-direction imaging was acquired on the way from Endurance Crater egress toward Opportunity's heat shield, which was discarded during the EDL (Entry, Descent and Landing) phase of the mission. This mosaic covers about 30 degrees across.  Two versions are provided at full resolution, an approximate true color generated using Pancam's 753 nm, 535 nm, 432 nm filters, and a false color stretch.
