        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 3104 (October 17, 2012). After leaving Whitewater Lake, the rover drove upslope to investigate Matijevic Hill. This view shows some of the interesting features in the area. About 4 meters (13 feet) of outcrop stretches away from Opportunity in the larger right portion of the image. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Three versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
