Timika

        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 3046 (August 18, 2012). The field of view is approximately 27 degrees wide and shows an area of outcrop on Cape York, part of the rim of 22 kilometer (14 mile) wide Endeavour Crater. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Three versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
