Tisdale

        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 2686 (August 14, 2011). The view shows a few of the larger rocks in the vicinity of Odyssey Crater on the rim of Endeavour Crater. The rock near the center of the image is about 1.25 meters (4 feet) long. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Two versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
