Hills

         This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 256 (September 21, 2004).  The field of view is approximately 116 degrees wide and shows part 1 of a two position long baseline stereo observation of distant hills. See part 2 of the mosaic. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 482nm filters were used in making this mosaic.  This is a mosaic made from the left eye only.
