Endeavour Movie |
||||
This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 2273 (June 16, 2010). The distant rim of Endeavour Crater can be seen near the horizon. The field of view is approximately 26 degrees wide. This view is part of an ongoing series of mosaics designed to, when finished, be animated into a movie showing Opportunity's approach to Endeavour Crater. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic. Two versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
