Photometry West

        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 225 (August 20, 2004). As the rover sat near an area called Clovis, it took a series of images of the area under different lighting conditions. This is the view to the west at approximately 16:08 LST. Pancam's 753nm, 601nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
