Pre-Drive Survey

        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exlporation Rover Spirit on Sol 203 (July 29, 2004) during its ascent of West Spur in the Columbia Hills. This view spans approximately 50 degrees. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used to generate this mosaic. Two versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
