Rho

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 1895 (May 23, 2009).  The field of view is approximately 67 degrees wide and shows an area of outcrop between dunes. The rover deck can be seen in the lower portion of this image. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in making this mosaic.  Three versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph to simulate the scene in 3D through red-blue glasses.
