Corfu

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 1720 (Nov. 25, 2008).  The image shows a patch of outcrop amidst the ripples in Meridiani Planum. The field of view is approximately 45° wide.
This mosaic was created using Pancam's 753-nm, 535-nm, and 432-nm filters. Two versions are offered here at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to bring out subtle color differences in the scene.
