Mawson Reshoot

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 1599 (July 23, 2008). The image shows a portion of Cape Verde promontory in Victoria Crater. The field of view is approximately 14 degrees wide, and was taken near the base of Cape Verde. Pancam's 601nm, 535nm, and 482nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Three versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph to simualte the scene in 3D through red-blue glasses.
