Drive Direction

         This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 153 (June 7, 2004).  The Columbia Hills can be seen in the distance in this approximately 72 degree wide field of view. The gap between the left frame and the rest of the mosaic was intentionally left out to conserve data volume. Pancam's 432nm filter was used in making this mosaic.  This is a mosaic made from the left eye only.
