Victoria Dunes |

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on Sol 1437 (February 8, 2008). The view of dunes and ripples inside Victoria Crater was shot while the rover examined the target Buckland with instruments on its robotic arm. Particles from the martian dust storm of mid-2007 are still visible on the camera's optics. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic. Two versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
