Workvolume |
||||
This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 1408 (December 19, 2007). The image shows the rover's workvolume, along with a small portion of the deck and solar panels. The flat geometric rocks are representative of what Spirit encountered during her explorations on the top of Home Plate. Pancam's 601nm, 535nm, and 482nm filters were used in this vertical projection mosaic. Three versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing with red blue glasses.
