Eastern Drive Direction |
||||
This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 1380 (November 20, 2007). The approximately 30 degree wide view shows a possible drive direction to the east of the rover. This view was taken in conjunction with the Northern Drive Direction on the same sol to help the rover team decide which direction would be easiest to move. Pancam's 432 nm filter was used in this mosaic. Two versions are provided at full resolution: a mosaic made from the left eye only, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
