Photometry West

        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 1242 (July 1, 2007). This image was taken at 12:39 LST. This area was imaged under different lighting conditions at 12:43, 13:18, 12:27, 13:01, 11:46, 14:12, 17:25, 09:40, and 16:29. Pancam's 753 nm, 601 nm, and 432 nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
