Photometry East

        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 1241 (June 30, 2007). This image was taken at 12:17 LST. This area was imaged under different lighting conditions at 12:33, 13:09, 12:52, 11:37, 12:28, 14:02, 17:16, 09:31, and 16:20. Pancam's 753 nm, 601 nm, and 432 nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
