Scuff

         The Spirit rover acquired this mosaic on Sol 1202 (May 21, 2007) while investigating the area east of Home Plate in the Columbia Hills. The mosaic shows an area of disturbed soil called Gertrude Weise, made by Spirit's stuck right front wheel.
         This mosaic was acquired in Pancam's 753-nm, 535-nm, and 432-nm filters. Four versions are offered here at full resolution: an approximately true color rendering, a false color stretch to bring out subtle color differences, a stereo anaglyph to simulate the scene in 3D, and a vertical projection.
