Photometry East

        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 1144 (March 23, 2007). This image was taken at 13:42 LST. This area was imaged under different lighting conditions at 13:29, 14:13, 14:39, 17:09, and 12:28. Pancam's 753 nm, 601 nm, and 432 nm filters were used in this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
