Survey

         Spirit acquired this image on Sol 1108 (February 13, 2007). It shows part of the ground near Mitcheltree Ridge, as Spirit carried out investigations in the vicinity of Home Plate. The field of view is about 30 degrees wide. This mosaic was created with Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters. Two versions are offered here at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering and a false color stretch to bring out subtle color differences in the scene.
