Cape Desire

        The Opportunity rover took this mosaic on Sol 1060 (January 16, 2007). The field of view spans approximately 60°. Two versions are available in full resolution: an approximate true color image made from Pancam's 432-nm, 535-nm and 753-nm filters, and a false color version which has been stretched to bring out the subtle color differences in the scene. The rover's approximate location at the time of this mosaic is also provided, shown by the red "X" in the HiRISE image to the right.
