This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 102 (April 16, 2004). The field of view is 16 degrees wide and was taken at two times of day. This image was taken at approximately 14:30 LST. See the other mosaic here. Part of Spirit's right wing and solar panels can be seen in the lower frame. Pancam's 753nm, 601nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic. Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color rendering which enhances the subtle color differences in the scene.
