Drive Direction

         This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 101 (April 15, 2004).  Drive direction images like this are used by rover drivers to help find the safest course through a scene. This view is about 45 degrees from side to side. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in making this mosaic.  Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
