Localization

         This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 052 (February 25, 2004). The approximately 307 degree view shows the Columbia Hills, the lander, and the general area around the rover's landing site in Gusev Crater. Pancam's 432nm and 436nm filters were used to make this mosaic. Two versions are provided at full resolution: one made from the left eye only, and a stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
