Rear Wheel Tracks

         This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 016 (January 19, 2004). It shows the tracks behind the rover's aft solar panel, as well as the Pancam calibration target in the left frame. Data volume constraints limited the coverage, so there is a gap between the two frames. Pancam's 432nm filter was used to make this mosaic. Two versions are provided at full resolution: a left eye only view, and a left and right eye stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
