Photometry South 2

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 013 (January 16, 2004). The rover had driven off the lander at this point, and took a series of mosaics pointing north, west, and south at different times of day. Pancam's 753nm and 432nm filters and a synthesized 535nm filter were used in this mosaic. Two versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
