Photometry West 3

        This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 013 (January 16, 2004). The rover had driven off the lander at this point, and took a series of mosaics pointing north, west, and south at different times of day. Pancam's 753nm, 601nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic. Two versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
