Endurance Hills

This mosaic was acquired by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on Sol 008 (January 10, 2004).  The view shows the Columbia Hills from Spirit's location atop the lander. This mosaic was taken post stand-up, before driving off the lander, and the hills are about 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) away. Pancam's 753nm left and 754nm right eye filters were used to make this mosaic. Two versions are provided at full resolution: a left eye only version and a left and right eye stereo anaglyph for 3D viewing through red-blue glasses.
